Garbage Service Reminders
- All garbage bags must be set out with an attached, complete, appropriately sized REDCAN Sticker.
- Garbage is picked up every Monday excluding Holidays
- Recycling is picked up every other Monday
- Stickers can be purchased at City Hall or Casey's.
- All appliances must be arranged for pick up
- Hazardous materials must be disposed of at the landfill
- Medical syringes are to be disposed of in bio-hazard safe containers, which are available at City Hall
- Garbage must be set between curb and sidewalk no later than 8 am the day of pick up
- Garbage set out for pick up prior to date of pick up should be placed in animal proof containers
- NO yard waste
Recycling Service Reminders
- Clean materials only
- NO plastic bags – to be recycled or used as a material holding device
- Does not need to be separated
- NO glass
- Set out for pick up no later than 8 am the day of pick up
Yard Waste Collection Reminders
- Materials must be in biodegradable paper bags
- Branches must not exceed 4” in diameter and 48” in length
- Branches must be bundled and tied together with twine
- Limit of 5 bags and/or bundles
- Pick up the LAST Thursday of months April through October
Water Service Reminders
- Our water meters are cellular read hourly, with daily reporting
- System has the capability of informing users of potential water leaks and high usage levels
- Inquire at City Hall to obtain access to your meter information
Animal Control Reminders
- Animals not allowed to run at large, and are to be restrained, by leash or enclosure
- Animals are not to be allowed to cause disturbance or annoyance with frequent and habitual howling, barking, or yelping
